Holy Island of Lindisfarne

The historic island lies just off the coast of North Northumberland, with a population of only 160, the island is visited by 650,000 visitors every year. The island is inaccessible after the tide washes over the causeway. When its safe, cross the causeway to explore the castle, cafe's, the priory and shops.
