Seahouses is a beautiful seaside village with a huge fishing history where you can explore the small boutique shops, eat in delicious cafes, play a competitive game of crazy golf or enjoy the famous fish & chip takeaways on the scenic beaches.
Regular boat trips depart from Seahouses to The Farne Islands between March and October. On this group of islands in The North Sea, birds rule the roost, seals laze on rocks, and dolphins skim the surrounding waters and so Sir David Attenborough claims it is his favourite nature viewing place in the UK. Around 23 different varieties of birds can be spotted here, including puffins.
